Mexico’s Nerv are pleased to announce their very first release, an EP entitled “Senor con Sanitario”. Playing host to creative guitar riffs that make one imagine Pedro the Lion playing U2 songs, Nerv started out in ’99 when Pedro Diaz entered college at Monterrey, Mexico.
The album’s introduction is a track called “Road to the Sea”, which boasts a vocal line eerily similar to Celine Dion’s superstar pop hit “My Heart Will Go On” from James Cameron’s blockbuster movie “Titanic”. Trust me it’s there somewhere deep in the vocal delivery, I promise!
But don’t think this is some rehashed pop-rock thing wrapped in indie bubble wrap. No this is in fact great indie rock from our southern country brothers. The guitars are by far the best part and will carry you on their shoulders for a great ride of melody and melancholy drippings of guitar string strumming.
